Leaf prints, nature collages, garden sculptures. KCampers use the great outdoors as their inspiration as they create wild and wonderful art. We will take long walks outside to gather ideas and materials.

10:30 - 11:40 Movin' and Groovin'

Move, jump, spin, and twirl! This workshop offers students a chance to explore creative movement and learn basic dance steps.

12:40 - 1:50 Beginning Chef
Measure, dice, stir, knead, bake, taste and enjoy. This workshop is the perfect experience for the new cook. Students will learn all the basics of cooking - from equipment to techniques - by practicing on a wide variety of dishes. The ABC's have never been so tasty!

KCampers will dig in and learn to garden. They will take potted plants home in child-decorated pots, make sunflower houses, plant magic beans (like Jack in the Bean Stalk), grow kitchen herbs, plant flowers to take home in old boots and other recycled containers, and grow veggies to take home to eat.
